Chatty Cathy

Looks like it's two-for-one today. I just have so much fodder lately, I can't even tell you :)

For the past few weeks Jude is thrilled pretty much out of his mind by strings hanging from window shades. He cackles with delight and almost falls out of our arms reaching whenever he sees one. His favorite place to be in the world right now is on the couch where there are three shade strings hanging. He once got one in each hand and was so maxed out on glee he almost passed out from the excitement.

He just started doing "bye-bye" so we obsess over that for awhile in the video. He wouldn't do it for the camera though and preferred to chatter. Good enough for me.

Jono is talking about pee and doesn't realize the video is on:

Now I think a nice long dry spell is in order ;)

Who needs television when you have children? Jude is WAY more entertaining!!
I was so struck by how deep his little baby voice is! Looking forward to kissing him (and seeing you guys too) in October.
Love, Ant (The OCD one who would probably be sterilizing the shade cords!)

Yes, it's such fun when he starts jabbering. And to reference, Emily, your post after your first full week of work......Jude definitely knows who you are! As you know, I had nursey duty at church and Jude was kind enough to spend time with me and the other kids. I was watching him have just a fine time, when all of a sudden he starts kicking his legs and ams, a HUGE smile comes on his face and I'm wondering, what brought that on? Then I looked up and saw you.... as had Jude!

Awww. It's the best part of being someone's mama (so far) when they see you and go nuts. Thanks for noticing :)

The knobs are actually pretty big... he has a hard time getting his Cheerio Mouth all the way around them actually ;)
